    IMI's Color Management for Successful Ink Jet System Implementation Course presents the essentials of a color-managed workflow for display and printing devices - and how to achieve and correct color at various stages during the reproduction process. The roles of measurement and the interpretation of data will be discussed as well as how to derive and represent a color gamut. The advantages and limitations imposed by color specifications will be presented, focusing on their implications for color quality of the reproduction. The importance of test images, reference images, standardized procedures and color standards will be highlighted.

    Inkjet system development is very challenging and color management is a key step in the development process for successful applications. This tutorial course is intended for engineers, scientists and managers who are new to color reproduction as well as those interested in refreshing or enhancing their current knowledge color reproduction knowledge. IMI's Color Management for Successful Ink Jet System Implementation Course will assist those undertaking design or implementation of ink jet systems as well as providing the knowledge and understanding to ask the right questions of vendors and consultants in the selection and implementation of color management systems.
